Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy is a standalone page tailored to each CAR. The structure is standardised but the entity name must be the correct CAR. 

Required opening sentence — use verbatim with the correct CAR substituted: 

This Privacy Policy applies to Breakaway (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 35681224082). 

Critical: before publishing, verify the entity name in the opening sentence. The 2026-05-02 monitoring run found one CAR site whose privacy policy named a different CAR than the one operating the site (template-cloning error). This is a Critical compliance breach. Confirm the entity name matches the CAR Master Register before pushing the change live. 

The remaining content of the Privacy Policy (collection, use, disclosure, retention, contact, complaints, etc.) is unchanged from the existing Privacy Policy on each CAR site. If you are starting from scratch, base it on the standard Australian Privacy Principles framework — the legal team will provide the body text on request.
